CCPA 601 : CPA Foundations 1

Course Description

This course examines the application of technically complex financial accounting and reporting issues. It will also explore corporate governance, strategy and management accounting, with an emphasis on their integration. The course will foster integration between financial accounting and related audit notions in a case-based setting, while focusing on different roles a CPA may play in an organization, both internal and external. Only open to students in the Graduate Certificate in CPA Professional Education. Supplementary Info: This course must be taken concurrently with CCPA 631.
