Course Description
This internship course provides learners the possibility to experience authentic work-related situations, gain work experience in a diverse, bilingual and multicultural work environment in Canada, and put into practice what they are studying in class. Students will develop their linguistic, communicative, functional, discursive and socio-cultural competencies as well as their oral and written professional communication skills. Students will also develop intercultural communication skills and become aware of North American diversity as well as professional, cultural and social practices in the workplace.
