YCBS 242 : Applied Business Analysis

Course Description

This hands-on course will focus on the building blocks of the Business Model Canvas, Business Motivation Models, conducting rigorous feasibility studies and well-constructed business cases. Tactical approaches and techniques to effectively introduce change will include Business Process Modeling Notation and hybrid Use Case approach (Unified Modelling Language), from both a business and a systems perspective. To be effective change agents, business analysts must also recognize the human dimensions which will be illustrated and put into play via mini case-studies. This course is aligned with the industry standard Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® Guide (BABOK® Guide v3), published by the International Institute of Business Analysis® (IIBA®) and with the Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide, published by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.
