Course Description
Introduction to financial translation, focusing on investment-related documents. Overview of key concepts, including asset(s), fixed-income, equity and investment funds. Study of problems specific to the translation of financial texts, as well as the various strategies, appropriate resources and research techniques used to mitigate them. Practical translations include factsheets, prospectuses, performance reports and website content.
